I have an idea for an energy transport system, by moving thermal energy from one climate to another. This project could have the potential to generate (or save) trillions of dollars.
How about a smart energy grid that transports energy, in different forms, from a hot climate to a cold climate, or vice-versa, using high-speed and high-mass transfer? If we gave NYC water way back when, who is to say this is not feasible? I’m thinking underground and simple; kind of like Manhattan’s steam system, only on a much larger scale and utilizing multiple energy conversion systems with maximal efficiency. When I look at the energy grid of the USA it just looks ridiculous… Could be so much better. Florida, burning OIL for electricity? Really? Why? Why would this continent burn petroleum for electricity? This really needs to change.
