Thank you for finally using my idea of releasing these “sonar buoys” but i wanted you to add a visual component but by now that may be a moot point, as it might have landed, but still may be useful:  Different use for this:  THEY HAVE VISUAL CAMERAS ON THE BOTTOM AS THEY RAIN DOWN IN GUIDED CLUSTERS, RECORDING IN HIGH QUALITY VIDEO (ZOOM LENSING OPTIONAL) WITH SOLID STATE ONBOARD DVR AND POWER SOURCE WITH CAPACITOR(S) ENOUGH TO RUN NOT ONLY THE COMPUTER FOR THE VIDEO DURING THE DROP, WHICH COULD USE PARACHUTES, AND THEN UPON LANDING IN WATER, FOLLOW SOME CURRENT FOR A WHILE, DO SOME OTHER WORK, SOME UNITS LARGE ENOUGH TO DEPLOY A VERY SIMPLE TELESCOPING PERISCOPE TELESCOPIC LENS CAMERA… FOR TRUE HD360 CONTINUALLY, NO ROTATION BUT BY USING MIRRORS OR LENSES, DUE TO ENERGY AND COMPLEXITY AND COSTS OF ALL THAT GO WITH MOTORIZED SYSTEMS IN SUCH A VIOLENT JOB.

PHASE THREE FOR SOME UNITS:  AT A PREDETERMINED TIME, SET BY PROFESSIONAL OCEANOGRAPHERS, NOAA… THE VISUAL SPECTRUM, NIGHT VISION, EVEN RADAR UNITS OR OTHER SPECTRUM TO RUN FULL 24 HOUR DAYS, SAY FOR A FEW DAYS OR A WEEEK, THEN THEY CAN MECHANICALLY DEPLOY A CAP ATOP THE BUOY, MUCH LIKE A ROCKET’S FAIRING, THAT IS FORCED OPEN EITHER WITH SMALL EXPLOSIVE CHARGES PLACED PRECISELY TO CUT OPEN THE DOME IN SUCH MANNER THAT NO DAMAGE IS DONE TO INTERNAL SENSITIVE COMPONENTS; WHICH WOULD BE SHIELDED ANYWAY… AND ISOLATED BY MORE MATERIAL… OR, A MORE EXPENSIVE AND COMPLEX MECHANICAL DRIVE, OR, USE PLASTIC INSTEAD OF STEEL OR ALUMINUM AS A CAP, OF A TYPE THAT IS STRONG AND FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO STAY ON TOP IN THE RINGS, BUT WEAK ENOUGH TO LITERALLY ‘POP’ OFF THE END DUE TO INITIATION OF PHASE THREE, THAT BEING: THE RELEASE OF HELIUM GAS FILLING A FAIRLY STRONG BALLOON LARGE ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO CARRY (USE STANDARD SHELF STOCK OF ARRAY OF WEATHER BALLOONS-CHECK THE CATALOGUES) AND THE REST IS COMPLETELY OBVIOUS AND SIMPLE… ONE ELECTRIC SOLENOID VALVE OPENS THE HELIUM TANK, EITHER BY SET TIMER, COORDINATION BETWEEN THE BUOYS DEPENDING UPON DESIGN, OR BY USING AWACS TEMPORARY PLANETARY WIFI (LOL) TO FORM AN ENTIRE / INTEGRATE WITH (DEPENDING ON CLASSIFICATION) OTHER BUOYS – IF THIS THING IS SUCH A HUGE DEAL NOW, AND EVERYONE IS TRYING TO SHOW OFF WHO CAN FIND IT FIRST… JUST LIKE THE RACE EARLIER WITH THE SHIP THAT GOT STUCK IN ICE, WITH FAILURE AFTER FAILURE OF ICE CUTTERS TRYING TO RESCUE IT… ANOTHER MEDIA FIASCO… LOL… — ANYWAY, BUDGET IS ALWAYS A CONCERN, AND SO ONCE THESE THINGS FLOAT UP INTO THE SKY AGAIN, THEY WILL BE VULNERABLE, SO FOR REDUNDANCY I MIGHT STORE A DUPLICATE COMPRESSED AND ENCRYPTED CHIP WITH ANOTHER RADIO, JUST IN CASE PHASE THREE (BALLOON) AND SO ON CANNOT DO ITS JOB OR MALFUNCTIONS DUE TO WEATHER, ETC.

NONETHELESS, THESE BALLOONS WOULD NECESSARILY, DUE TO THEIR NUMBER AND THE HAZARD TO THIS SUDDENLY ULTRA BUSY AREA, CUT BY REMOTE COMMAND, OR SET TO AUTOMATICALLY FALL BY ANY NUMBER OF SIMPLE MEANS ONCE THEY REACH A CERTAIN ALTITUDE, TAKEING MORE HD PHOTOGRAPHS IN ULTRA 4K OR HIGHER QUALITY AS THEY FLOAT AROUND.  THE ONBOARD COMPUTER, WHICH IS SMALLER THAN A POCKET CELLPHONE, CAN ALSO BE USED TO PILOT THESE BLIMPS, CAN BE TRACKED BY SATELLITES IN REAL TIME, EASILY – PIECE OF CAKE, THAT ONE – AND ADDITIONALLY, EACH UNIT, BEING EQUIPPED WITH VISUAL DOWN LOOKING CAMERAS, COULD HAVE EITHER OF THESE OR BOTH OR MORE:  ONBOARD 360 RADAR (IF THIS UNIT WAS EQUIPPED WITH THE TELESCOPING PERISCOPE MENTIONED ABOVE, INCLUDING VISUAL) – ALONG WITH REALTIME SATELLITE COORDINATION WITH WHATEVER JURISDICTION, IF ANY, IS IN THE AREA… OTHERWISE, JUST USE THE SIGNAL ANYWAY… TO ENSURE NO FLIGHTS EVER CRASH INTO ONE OF THESE THINGS.. IF AN AIRPLANE IS EXPECTED TO BE IN THE AREA AT THE ALTITUDE OF VICINITY, IT WILL BURST THE BALLOON, AND DROP BACK INTO THE SEA – THIS TIME, IT MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE AN ADDITIONAL PARACHUTE DEPENDING ON INTENDED ALTITUDE.  CONDITIONS FOR LARGE DATA TRANSFER WITHIN THE AERIAL NETWORK (TEMPORARY MISSION BASED) FROM EACH UNIT WILL ALSO DEPEND HEAVILY ON A STRONG AND RELIABLE ELECTRICAL SOURCE.  AGAIN, THE DATA TRANSFER COULD BE ANYTHING FROM TINY TO MIND BOGGLINGLY ENORMOUS, UNLIKE THE TELEMETRY, SAT PINGS, ETC – CAPACITORS WOULD AID IN THIS, AND SOME SMART PROGRAMMING AND TIMING, TO SAVE ENERGY DURING THE RUN, FOR THE FINAL DATA TRANSFER TO NEARBY COOPERATING MANNED OR UNMANNED AERIAL UNITS DUE TO LINE OF SIGHT AND THE ABILITY TO ESTABLISH A MORE IDEAL ANTENNA TRANSMITTER (PHYSICALLY) TO SEND ALL THE PICTURES.

THIS SYSTEM CAN BE SCALED TO NEARLY ANY SIZE OR COST.  DUE TO SPECIALIZATION/MODIFICATION, AND DIFFERENT PRODUCTION RUNS, THE PLANE MAY HAVE BEEN LOCATED BY THE TIME THE FIRST ‘HOT’ UNIT OFF THE LINE IS EVEN UP IN THE AIR.  WOULD IT NEED TO PASS AIRWORTHINESS CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS IN THIS JURISDICTION?  ETC. RED TAPE YELLOW TAPE BLACK TAPE ELECTRICAL TAPE… SOME SOLDER AND A LEAD ZEPPELIN… LOL
